Transportation Fair in Cuba
The 10th International Transportation Fair starts Wednesday in this capital’s EXPOCUBA exhibition center, with attendance of companies from over 40 nations.
The fair joins a revitalization process of transportation currently underway here, and will show advances for local experts to exchange experiences with foreign suppliers.

Namibia Thanks Cuba for Cooperation
Cuba s cooperation with Namibia in education and health is at the center of official meetings Wednesday with Foreign Minister Marco Hausiku, on his second and last day of his visit to the island.
The Namibian minister is expected today to meet separately with Cuban Education Minister Luis Ignacio Gomez and Public Health Minister Jose Ramon Balaguer.

Cuban Unions in Plenary Sessions
Labor discipline and business improvement are on the table Tuesday in plenary sessions of the 19th Congress of the Central Workers Union of Cuba (CTC), taking place in this capital with over 1,450 attendees.
Delegates from 19 national workers unions will approve today 15 draft resolutions analyzed Monday in nine working commissions.

Congolese Gen. Visits Cuban University
Major Gen. Charles Richard Mondjo, head of the General Staff of the Congolese Armed Forces Tuesday visited a military university where he verified conditions under which Cuban future officers are trained.
In his second day in Cuba, Mondjo and his delegation visited the Gen. Antonio Maceo Inter-Arms School of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) in charge of graduate professionals in the fields of military commanders and engineering.

Cuba and Russia Cooperating
The 7th Cuba-Russia Inter-Government Commission is due to begin Tuesday in this capital, aimed at fostering economic, trade and scientific-technical cooperation.
