The Vice-President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP) Ricardo Rodriguez finished a visit to Uruguay on Tuesday.

Cuban doctors in Indonesia gave the tetanus vaccine to nearly 10,000 residents of Klaten, one of the localities most damaged by the earthquake that pounded the small Asian country in May.

The Cuban medical brigade gave assistance to about 90,000 low income people in the Indonesian Islands until August 20, Cuban Granma daily reported on Tuesday.
