Cuban Daniel Montes won the greatest award for a stamp collector in the World Stamp Collecting Exhibition, held in the United States, Granma official daily reported on Thursday.

The Grand Youth Award and Vermeil Medal were granted to the 18-year-old stamp collector, due to his Cuba Colonial collection, the newspaper said.

The event was attended by 3,000 stamp collectors from different places in the world.
