Cubas Varadero Beach has been acclaimed in Russia as the Caribbean´s best travel destination in 2005 at the International Travel Fair that recently closed in Moscow.

According to www.travel.ru, Russia´s travel and tourism portal, an online survey conducted all across the vast country revealed that Russian tourists prefer the so-called Cuban Blue Beach to other destinations in the region, including Mexico, Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic.

The award was presented to Carlos Oscar Hernandez, chief of Cuba´s Tourism Office in Moscow, who thanked the Russian public for their choice of Varadero Beach.

With approximately 14 miles of powder-thin sand and crystal-clear waters, Varadero is by far Cuba´s finest beach and one of the most beautiful in the whole wide world.
