Accor to Consolidate Presence in Macao
Paris.- The consortium Accor will consolidate its position in the Chinese city of Macao after opening a new hotel, thus expanding its presence in the Asian country.
The Sofitel Macau Hotel, whose inauguration is scheduled for next year, is located by the sea and will offer 440 rooms distributed in 17 floors. Its architectural style recreates the city’s colonial history.
The Sofitel Macau Hotel will have a 600-square-meter conference hall, meeting rooms and a business center.
The establishment is part of a development project in the Clock Tower neighborhood, an emblematic monument in the port of Macao, and also includes a casino, restaurants, malls and movie theaters.
